AnthroMed Education is a local practice dedicated to supporting Speech Language Pathologists in their school-based careers across the Chicagoland area. Our team is the heart and soul of what we do, and we are committed to providing you with the resources and support you need to continue changing students' lives. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who can work full-time and support onsite for one of our amazing charter school districts in Lake County, IL.  

In this role, the selected candidate will be supporting a wide range of students ranging from K-8th grade. The caseload consists of 35-40 students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role will require the selected candidate to work Monday-Friday doing onsite therapy. A positive bonus to this position is that the SLP joining will be working alongside our other SLP who works for this school and they will collaborate throughout the school year. 

SLP Job Duties Include:

Provide Speech-Language therapy services to K-8th grade students.Manage a caseload of 35-40 students.Complete the required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss individual students' modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions, or problems.Work collaboratively to ensure student's needs are met.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.Develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each student placed in speech-language therapy.Other duties as assigned.

SLP Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent and Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology LicenseCurrent and Active Professional Educator License (PEL)

Pay & Benefits:

The pay range for this position is 55,000-70,000K annually, based on qualifications and experience.Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date.Employees who work 30+ hours per week are eligible for the full-time employee benefits offered by AnthroMed.Benefits begin the first of the month after start date.
