For more information visit www.mercy.org. **Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** The Speech Pathologist participates as a member of the health care team working with professional non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients addressing the age of the patients served. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Long-term care experience + 1 year experience as a speech therapist + Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation + Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy + Ability to implement practical application of knowledge + Ability to function independently and autonomously + Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English + Ability to teach and instruct patient family and staff + Current licensure by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance as a speech and language pathologist + Current CPR certification **Preferred Qualifications:** + 6 months to one year home health experience **Pay Range** $40.75 - $59.09 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
