When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to us. *Position Description* Hartford Healthcare Rehabilitation Network is offering a 12-month Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Clinical Fellowship.This intensive fellowship program is designed to help you learn to apply didactic information to clinical practice with patients who have a wide range of disorders in the acute care setting. It will include a combination of clinical, didactic, and quality improvement experiences through rotations across all inpatient service lines. One-to-one clinical mentoring will be provided, as well as opportunities for leadership skill development. The Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow will become independent in the evaluation and treatment of disorders of communication, cognition and swallowing to maximize a patient’s safety and independence.
