Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of pediatric outpatients with a wide variety of communication, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders. The SLP develops a plan of care for each patient referred and is responsible for its implementation and modification as necessary in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures relative to care and treatment of patients.

Qualifications

Education: 

Minimum: 

Experience and education must be any combination recognized by the state of Florida for license as a Speech Language Pathologist 

Preferred: 

Masters in Speech Language Pathology

Experience: 

Preferred: 

One year experience with pediatrics as a Speech Language Pathologist

Other Qualifications: 

Current Florida License  Current CPR card 

Required Certifications: BLS
