Salary Range: $61,000 - $80,000

What You’ll Do:

Provide therapy and intervention services to studentsAddress expressive/receptive language and pragmatic skillsSupport students with behavior management needs as related to communicationParticipate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and familiesMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Caseload Details:

Working with students in grades K-8th, some exposure to  supporting students with AutismBlended elementary and middle school caseloads are commonAbility to match caseload to almost any age group / diagnoses based on clinicianThe average caseload size is in the low 50s, no caseload over 60 The district uses a workload model to ensure equitable distribution of responsibilitiesThe workload model is continually being adjusted annually to best support cliniciansThe model is based on time spent, and approximately half of your day is spent on assigned IEP services in the districtIf a clinician has a workload or caseload overage, additional support is assigned to reduce their total

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (MSLP)MD Department of Health SLP License Experience with elementary and middle school populations strongly preferredStrong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
