We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a partner school that provides education for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our speech therapy team on a full-time basis for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, completing evaluations, and collaborating with parents and other key stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities will include;
Provide year-round services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, including direct, small group sessions, and push in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skillsCompile and develop treatment plans to support studentsDevelop and implement IEPs for students with ASD, incorporating specific, measurable goals tailored to each studentRegularly monitor and document students progress towards IEP goals and adjust therapy plans as necessaryProvide training on functional life skills for students approaching graduationImplement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies, including communication boards, speech-generating devices, and sign language, as appropriateMaintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school district regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Work closely with BCBAs and other professional such as Occupational Therapists, Special Education Teachers, and moreSpeech Language Pathologist Requirements:
