Responsibilities

St. Joseph Medical Center Speech Pathology Department (SJMC) is looking for a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist  (SLP) to join our speech therapy team. This is a per diem day shift position.  This Speech Therapists (SPLs) duties include, but are not limited to:

responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physicianassists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the departmentthe culture of our team is second-to-none!  Please apply if quality patient care and team cameraderie is your goal - there is truly a spirit of friendship and community on our team!work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults

 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

licensed by the state in Speech-Language Pathologygraduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelor's in speech therapy, requiredMS degree in Speech-Language Pathology, preferredat least one year of experience in a hospital setting, preferredcurrent BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current
