Speech Pathologist, Casual

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats a variety of communication/swallowing disorders but is not limited to aphasia, voice, speech/language, closed head injury deficits (cognitive, linguistic, memory, attention), fluency (including stuttering), aural rehabilitation, non-verbal (augmentative communication), oral and pharyngeal stage of swallowing.

Responsibilities:

Prepares diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations. Maintains compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies’ requirements. Provides diagnostic evaluative services for Speech-Language Pathology clients. Delivers appropriate speech pathology treatments. Actively participates in staff meetings, development, and in-service education. Adheres to organizational policies, including Corporate Compliance and HIPAA. Maintains confidentiality and accurate progress notes. Provides excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Coordinates evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs. Pursues professional growth and development, and participates in educational programs.
