Atlantic Health is searching for a fully licensed Speech Pathologist for their inpatient department at Overlook Medical Center. This is a per diem position in which the ideal candidate will perform tasks such as: conducting speech and language evaluations for patients in the acute care setting, identifying speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized treatment plans based on assessments, as well as assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. In addition to being fully licensed and qualified, it is preferred that the candidate have MBS experience - but it is not required. Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited institution. Active NJ State SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA Experience with acute care population with neuro and medical populations. Peds and NICU experience a plus, but not required. MBS experience a plus, but not required.
