Speech Pathologist - Children's Residential Program

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, assess and screen clients using appropriate standardized testing and clinical observational skills
• Provide speech/language therapy according to OPWDD regulations
• Supervise Speech Instructor on all services provided and evaluate progress, provide guidance and mentorship and conduct performance evaluations
• Maintain documentation according to OPWDD regulations
• Attend all meetings as scheduled and collaborate with other professionals, staff and families.
• Create and monitor goals for six residences across campuses
• Attend quarterly, annual, IDT meetings with school/residence as required
• Work cohesively with school programs on coordination of speech services from school to home
• Create and monitor speech trainings as needed
• Work with CRP nutritionists for those individuals that may have certain dietary restrictions.
• Other duties as assigned
