This Speech Language Pathologist will focus on developing skills in the settings available in this entity through clinical experience and continued training. This SLP will perform prevention screening evaluation diagnosis management and counseling services to hospital patients with speech language cognitive communication and or oral and pharyngeal sensorimotor impairments. The clinician plans directs and conducts rehabilitative counseling programs and discharge planning activities to treat disorders of verbal and written language voice articulation fluency interactive and cognitive communication mastication deglutition auditory visual processing and memory and assistive and or augmentative communication treatments and devices in accordance with the skill proficiency and competency of an entry level clinician. The SLP may supervise students and technicians delegating and instructing supportive personnel as necessary
A speech language pathologist who has experience completing modified barium swallow studies is preferred
