**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
To provide professional skills in diagnostic evaluation of patients with speech, language, cognitive, oral and pharyngeal swallow function, and to provide habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services under the supervision of a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist..
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
+ Select, administer and interpret diagnostic tests.
+ Plan and conduct treatment for patients with communication disorders.
+ Demonstrate clinical skills for age specific populations - one position will have a primarily pediatric focus and the other a primarily adult focus with some overlap in basic skill areas.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
Master's degree, Clinical Fellow eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and eligible for Intern license from the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Eligible for Texas Speech-Language Pathology Intern License.
+ Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
+ English. Spanish desirable.
+ Prior practicum experience in medically based or rehabilitation practices.
**SALARY:**
Commensurate with experience.
