Position Summary:
Provide speech language pathology services to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services including screenings and health promotion. Integrate elements of patient/client management-examination,evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention - in a manner designed to maximize functional outcomes. Ability to push-pull, lift-carry, and transfer patients.
Qualifications:
Licensed in North Carolina to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist or the ability to obtain licensure as well as holding an active ASHA membership. Preferred experience in acute care, long-term care, and/or outpatient settings. Dysphagia and MBSS experience is a plus.
