SpeechLanguage Pathologist/SLP
Must hold at a minimum a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a school accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). Must hold or be eligible to receive an Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment or hold a license as a Clinical Fellow in his/her Clinical Fellowship Year. Clinical Fellow (CFY) must be mentored by a Stated Licensed and ASHA certified SLP in the state where services will be provided and employed by Parkview Health. If employee is a CFY she/he must obtain state licensure within 18 months of initiation of the CFY. Must hold Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) if not in their CFY. Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to the expiration date. If assigned to drive a company vehicle a valid drivers license is required. If assigned to drive a personal vehicle proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid drivers license. Work experience preferred but not required other than clinical experience within educational training program. Must be able to lift 50 pounds assist with 100 pounds may be required to push up to 300 pounds. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
