Job Summary:
Parkview Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited institution.
Must hold or be eligible to receive a Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services will be provided within 90 days of employment.
Clinical Fellows (CFY) must be mentored by a state-licensed and ASHA-certified SLP employed by Parkview Health and must obtain licensure within 18 months of starting their fellowship.
Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA if not in their CFY.
Must be CPR certified or obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
All certifications and licenses must be maintained according to expiration dates.
Experience:
Work experience is preferred but not required beyond clinical training.
Additional Requirements:
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., assist with 100 lbs., and push up to 300 lbs.
Must be flexible and willing to work at multiple locations as assigned.
If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required.
If using a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.
