Job Description:

Location: Saco, Maine

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Splicer to join our team at a rope manufacturing company in Saco, ME.

In this role, you will be responsible for splicing ropes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. The position offers competitive pay, a stable 2nd shift schedule, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform rope splicing tasks, including joining and finishing rope ends with precision.
Ensure ropes meet quality standards, including strength, durability, and appearance.
Use tools and equipment necessary for splicing ropes, including hand tools and splicing machines.
Follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines to complete tasks accurately and safely.
Inspect ropes for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Desired Background/Skills:

Previous experience in rope splicing or manufacturing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
Ability to work efficiently and independently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Good manual dexterity and ability to work with tools.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with ropes or in a similar production environment.
Knowledge of splicing techniques and materials.
Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or tool issues.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Other Information:

Location: Saco, ME
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:15 PM – 11:45 PM)
Salary: $20 – $22 per hour
