Company vehicle ( Based on job type) What you’ll do as a Copper Splicer II You will, with guidance, perform tasks associated with the upgrade and splicing of Copper Cables (Copper 710 Splicing) You will, with guidance, maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment You will assemble equipment according to design specifications You will test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation You will maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment You will assemble equipment according to design specifications You will install/repair Fiber lines in trenches and/or pedestals using various hand tools You will prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately record completed work on job site blueprints What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Valid State Driver's License You will have 3 or more years experience as a cooper splicer with experience on outside plant or system installations while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation You will have a high school diploma or equivalent Additional qualifications (if applicable) Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: Lift, bend, stoop, climb and work in varying weather conditions Occasionally: Lift up to 80 lbs Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
