Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Splunk Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on system analysis, tooling, and efficiency improvements. You will manage logs, engage with stakeholders, and create actionable dashboards. A strong desire to learn and adapt is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and optimize existing systems to enhance efficiency. Manage and interpret logs, and engage in meaningful conversations with stakeholders. Develop and maintain dashboards to drive actionable insights. Script and automate tasks using Python. Maintain and expand on-premises data infrastructure. Collaborate with Splunk consulting services to support the transition from on-premises to AWS. Operate in a Linux environment, including RHEL and Ubuntu. Advise on cost efficiency for future usage and cost optimization for current infrastructure. Automate the management and enforcement of policies. Create and maintain documentation related to architecture and operational processes for Splunk. Develop a set of best practices and architecture patterns. Help maintain regulatory compliance of the Splunk infrastructure. Help monitor and maintain Splunk performance, availability, and capacity. Offer solutions for Splunk technical questions, issues, and escalations, including working with Splunk Support as needed. Provide operations monitoring of the Splunk platform to enable proactive issue identification, response, and resolution. Recommend and execute improvements to the existing Splunk architecture and design with growth and scalability in mind to optimize performance, stability, reliability, and agility. Responsible for reporting on current infrastructure status and planning for future usage. Support large-scale deployments with data feeds from multiple on-premises and cloud data centers. Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, or similar. Skills and Requirements Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role. Certification: Splunk certification (Admin or Architect level) is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python scripting. Environment: Experience working in Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu). Cloud: Familiarity with AWS and experience in transitioning from on-premises to cloud environments. Leadership: 3 years of experience in leading technical teams to achieve objectives and outcomes.
