Job DescriptionSPM Business Process Consultant
Role Summary : The SPM Business Process Consultant will be responsible to develop, invest, and maintain thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise in their specialization for both process and technology in an internal consulting environment. They will recommend an appropriate roadmap for implementation, run requirements and process workshops that align business needs to best practices what work in concert with the overall ServiceNow product vision and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in designing overall engagement model for working with GLD Business Automation and set expectations regarding engagement model with stakeholdersDesign business outcome driven solutions focused on designing processes which solve stakeholder problems, are repeatable, accelerate value and employ process best practices and standardsDrive SPM process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/to-be processes. Identify solutions from a people, process and technology perspective during workshops with key stakeholders, generating the required outputs to the level required for the subsequent stages of the engagementIdentify areas of SPM process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) and recommend solutions that detail pros, cons and risksManage and communicate SPM process and business requirements ensuring that the proposed solutions meet the customer's expectationsProvide guidance and deliver successful implementation of the to/be processes in partnership with other members of the project teamLead clients in their efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow functional capabilities and in their efforts to improve their SPM processesComplete, develop and improve required documentation such as process flow diagrams, roles/responsibilities, workshop agendas, presentations, gap analysis reportsEnsure process related deliverables to stakeholders are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomesPromoting continuous process improvement practices through process metrics/KPIs, dashboards and role accountabilitiesInvest and maintain expertise in SPM product process capabilities, features and complimentary processesCollaborate and contribute to the creation, deployment and maintenance of process best practices and standardsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Systems Management or equivalent technical / business qualification through experienceDesired certifications that include:Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio ManagementSCRUM, Agile, and/or Scaled Agile3+ years’ experience implementing SPM/APM programs at large customers; or leading SPM programs at large customers using ServiceNowExperience with enterprise software implementations for large organizations

Ability to lead project workshops and gather the desired requirements for implementation successAbility to influence decision-making within leadership, at levels of SVP, VP, and DirectorAbility to deliver technical and process guidance to all project stakeholdersAbility to interact with and influence a wide range of employees, including senior management, and entry-level personnel across a wide number of ServiceNow departmentsAbility to drive deliverables and results, which involve people who do not directly report to youStrong organizational and time management skills
