Key Responsibilities:
The Sponsorship In Programming (SIP) Lead will coordinate processes that will ensure integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials in programming and enable WVI Indonesia to integrate Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship key performance indicators within Assessment, Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning systems and frameworks.
This position will lead coordination with WV Global Centre (GC) and Regional Office (RO) concerning Sponsorship Integration and internally with FOs, APs, PARTNER ORGs and other functions of WVI Indonesia to ensure requirements of Sponsorship in Programming and Sponsorship Essentials. This position requires leading integration with other functions and sectors to ensure Sponsorship Data is being triangulated and utilised to influence programmatic decisions that address child wellbeing issues and maximize children’s meaningful participation through programmes in WVI Indonesia APs.
This position requires to effectively support WVI Indonesia to engage sponsors by creating a compelling, integrated and coherent story that includes both authentic child expression and inspiring proof of change describing the needs, progress and improvements in children’s well-being through Sponsorship Integration in each Area Programs (AP) under WVI Indonesia. This position requires supporting each APs to link Sponsorship Integration activities with children’s participation, life skills and voice (Children’s expression, advocacy and influence) and community led care and protection.
The work achieved because of this role is key to World Vision’s sponsor retention and acquisition efforts globally, by providing child and community data and information that support the optimum experience a sponsor has with the organization. It is through the child and community data and information processed by the team, that sponsors have an opportunity to start and grow a relationship with a sponsored child and their community.
Sponsorship In Programming (SIP) Lead will be responsible for all the APs that WVI Indonesia is working currently and any new additional APs that will start up in future.
Major Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor the integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials with programming in compliance with WV global standards and key performance indicators
Facilitate ToT of Sponsorship basic training for DP, Micro Project and new approaches to AP and PARTNER ORG staff.
Guide NO to lead the new AP assessment and design process for Sponsorship along with the assessment and design team. Review the report to ensure all elements of Sponsorship Feasibility and Risk Management
Holds a good understanding of all WVI Indonesia TPs and are included in the sponsorship integration scope effectively and appropriately.
Technical advice and direction to AP staffs on how to develop and implement micro projects including gift catalogue and to develop its business process guideline.
Guidance to APs on implementing Annual Community Review and Planning (ACRP), Sponsorship in Programming [SIP] reflection including the AP program quality self-review.
Review and ensure the quality of community engagement and sponsorship elements in Annual AP Planning processes.
Ensure the implementation of Sponsorship in Programming and MVC mapping and Sponsorship Essentials in AP Level.
Lead Sponsorship Information Officer (SIO) in AP to implement sponsorship standards and sponsorship in programming in AP Level.
Contribute to Sponsorship Team’s engagement in organizational strategy planning and reporting processes.
Manage and monitor systems and processes on sponsorship RC Participation and its’ mapping.
Generate, analyze and establish trends based on Horizon Hope Reimagined reports on MVC status and CWB issues and submit to Sponsorship Manager as basis for analysis and recommendation for Operations programming purpose.
Coordination with sectors and other relevant departments for SIP integration, 100% RC reach and timely address of the CWB needs through programming.
Lead the identification, assessment, prioritization and mitigation of all risks associated with integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials as per WV global standards and key performance indicators
Ensure that all business processes and operational activities that are associated with integration of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship programming essentials in projects/programmes are following WV’s global standards
Create and maintain a working environment that encourages critical thinking, learning and feedback, and strives to improve efficiency, effectiveness and quality of Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship communications and products.
Perform other organizational and business processes that are required to contribute to WVI Indonesia strategic objectives and to maintain a healthy organizational life
Required Professional Experience
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar or equivalent positions in development sector or sponsorship-focused organization
Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices
Strong analytical skill: think strategically and analytically; provide guidance, solve problems; and make appropriate and
timely decisions
Strong management skills including the ability to plan and budget; manage performance of partners and contractors;
monitor, evaluate and communicate results
Strong people management skills including performance management and talent development, as well as good facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills
Strong management and facilitation skills in assessment, monitoring, evaluation and reflection processes
Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity. Strong collaboration and partnership skills to mobilize engagement
and influence
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Bachelor's degree in social sciences/ development studies/international Relation or any relevant field
Computer and Technology literacy; Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Strong experience in using technology including information management database software and platforms.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ International Relation or any relevant field.
Knowledge of World Vision’s Technical programmes and transformational development, organizational policies and standards, including Child Sponsorship standards, LEAP3
User experience with WV’s data management and information platforms such as Horizon
Experience on World Vision’s Development Programme Approach
Travel and/orWork Environment Requirement
Will be required to travel at least 60% of the time
