We are looking for an experienced sports trader to join our team as a Sports Lead.   

How you will grow with us: 

Own a Pre-Match product area (Football, NBA, CBB, NHL, MLB, Other)  Plan and direct the team’s work ensuring all margin targets are achieved  Build strong relationships within all Trading functions and across the business  Work alongside other Team Leaders to manage scheduling of staff and trader allocation of matches  Manage the team in the absence of Head of Pre-Match  Drive model improvements to improve margin, and offering to our customers  Conduct in-depth product analysis, including competitor comparisons  Provide reports and Trading updates to Trading Managers  Identify changes to the sport that effect betting markets  Contribute to, and deliver upon the Trading strategy as agreed with Head of Pre-Match and VP Trading  Always exhibit positive leadership behaviors, and set the example for other team members to follow  Lead a team of 5-6 direct reports using Performance Management to include goal setting, expectations, quarterly reviews, and future development planning  Oversee and act promptly on underperforming staff, clarify and set clear expectations, offer training, and follow up on a regular basis  Support Head of Pre-Match with recruitment and termination decisions  Have a strong compliance focus to always ensure adherence to gaming regulation  As required, work alongside other functions such as compliance, marketing, customer support and tech support to enhance our product 

What you will need:  

5+ years’ experience within the sports betting industry   Supervisory experience in a sports trading environment  Passion and knowledge across US sports, including specialist knowledge  Strong mathematical and analytical skills – ability to understand and calculate odds  Commercial acumen – analytical skills with the ability to identify and create opportunities for growth  Results-driven – thrives on improving results and profitability  Quick thinking and decisive – ability to make trading decisions without hesitation  Excellent organizational skills  Team player – ability to rapidly build relationships and to work in collaboration with other teams and functions across the business  Scheduling flexibility to work any shift, any day including weekends and holidays  Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written  Ability to obtain and/or eligible for Gaming License
