The Department 

The Brand Consulting hospitality and events team specializes in helping corporations leverage the power and reach of sports and entertainment through sponsorship and brand activation, primarily through events, VIP hospitality, players and media relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to grow within a team.  

 

The Role

This role will work as an Account Executive on the Hospitality team responsible for supporting the execution of ticket distribution and suite management at key client sponsored venues around the country.  This role will also support the on-site execution of tentpole event hosted experiences at events including but not limited to the PGA Championship, Las Vegas Grand Prix, and MLB All-Star.  The candidate will interface day to day with the client and work cross functionally with internal teams, external vendors, and property partners.  

 

Responsibilities: 

Support planning and execution of ticket distribution and suite management at 20+ venues around the countryfor events ranging from concerts to sporting events

Interacting with senior-level executives on-site during event execution 

Continually improve the end-to-end client experience, ensuring that all attendee touch points across the entire event life cycle are delivered with the highest level of quality and consistency

Research & recommend outside vendors, venue sites, hotels & ground transportation and tracking overall budgets at the event level

Support pre-planning, project management and implementation for events including communication documents (i.e., Agendas, Status Updates, Project Plans, Event Overviews, Event Guides, Recaps, etc.)

Work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure consistent & comprehensive communication

Facilitate creative approval process (i.e. renderings, signage, POS, etc.)

Develop & manage timelines, run of show, budgets, ticket trackers, & reconciliation

On-site event logistics management & execution

Ensure all agency protocols are being followed including vendor agreements, accounting processes, recaps, etc.

Utilize agency resources appropriately and efficiently

Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail

Domestic travel will be required to ~20+ suite nights throughout the country to host in person

Manage Suite Request portal and coordinate approvals, booking of suite night, etc.

Manage Ticket/Parking allocations for all suite nights

Manage catering, on-site logistics, and shipping/distribution of branded items and gifting

Distribute event details and “know before you go” documents 

Develop and deliver compelling written and verbal communications

Administrative and related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

1-2+ years experience in sports/entertainment and hospitality/event planning

General understanding of current brand consulting & hospitality marketing

Team oriented, able to pivot and take on new tasks quickly

Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, manage deadlines, coordinate key timelines and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail

Knowledge in working with detailed budgets

Polished written and verbal skills. Strong at communicating in written format through well-crafted email correspondence

Ability to build trust through relationship building, confidence and business acumen

Able to utilize agency resources appropriately and efficiently

Willingness to work early mornings or late nights to accommodate weekends and holidays (if applicable)

 

Location

This role can be based in our Jacksonville, FL or Seattle, WA offices.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $60,000 - $70,000 for Jacksonville and $78,000 - $80,000 in Seattle. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
