Job Description

Supports the Sports Marketing team with the execution of Children’s sports related partnership assets and our Hope and Will mascot program.

Project/position description:

Work with sports marketing team to help implement assets and campaigns as part of our sports partnershipsTracks partnership asset executions for Braves, Hawks, Falcons, and Atlanta UnitedHelp with the scheduling and execution of Hope and Will mascot eventsAttend and support sports related events both internally and at team events. Events include experiential marketing, athlete appearances, patient/staff events, and fundraising  Works with internal communications on promotion of sports related employee engagement opportunities

Education

College or graduate student that is currently working towards a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other related field, required

Qualifications:

Progression toward an undergrad degree in Marketing, business, or related field. Experience in sports marketing-related area strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement projectsMust be able to multi-task and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCreative and analytical problem-solving capabilitiesDemonstrated strong interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience executing or planning events

Job Responsibilities

Develops and implements projects as assigned, which could include events, activities, programs, or research studies.

Creates and carries out a cohesive plan for each assigned project. Establishes and maintains contact with all appropriate individuals to ensure that the plan is implemented in the best interest of the organization.

Executes administrative and operational tasks for assigned projects.

Supports and participates in the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of services provided and projects produced.

Understands and complies with infection control, safety, and OSHA procedures and regulations, while meeting all in-service requirements as outlined per policy.
