About this team

The Australia & New Zealand Community team is responsible for pioneering brand advocacy in new markets and strengthening resonance in existing markets through an innovative mix of traditional marketing and grassroots   community building. This team is accountable for creating authentic and scalable connection points and amplifying key brand moments across both the Australia and New Zealand markets, ultimately growing the brand's presence in market.


A day in the life: 
Through the strategic and integrated marketing of an inspiring and engaging bench of ambassadors, partners and athletes, this role drives significant brand and product category growth in market. They are responsible for bringing to life a robust sports marketing approach through building influential brand partnerships, that drive broader business OKRs and business growth.


You support the Area Community Manager in the execution of Partnership and Athlete strategy across  Australia and New Zealand, and in driving the individual partnership/athlete strategies and marketing  activation plans.You identify, onboard and maintain successful relationships with existing and prospective partnerships and athletes, included but not limited to contract negotiation and fulfilment, onboarding and training, continuous relationship management, marketing and amplification tactics, building a pipeline of relationships for the future.You are the key point of contact for any new partnership or athlete requests.You identify opportunities for program growth both internally and externally.You are responsible for the creative execution of the marketing activation plan and calendar for each of your  athletes and partners, working cross functionally with the local brand manager, creative, social, PR,   communications, and digital marketing to bring these to life both internally and externally.You build out the framework and strategy for athlete storytelling across our channels, identifying opportunities to integrate these relationships into storytelling/campaigns, on our channels, or in our events etc.You work cross-functionally to create & monitor key metrics to show program impact & expand it globally.Create strategic priorities and deliverables for commercial partnerships that live into our OKRs and bring to life through cross functional project management. You understand athlete’s technical product needs, identify opportunities to showcase our brand & product and prioritise getting the right product on the right person at the right time. You are up to date and in the know with the latest trends in fitness, athletes, sports marketing and sub culture.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required (Marketing or similar business-related field)5 years + experience in the sports or athlete marketing or commercial partnerships.You have a strong understanding of the Australian & New Zealand sporting landscape, athletes and market trends. You have an extensive network of relationships across the sports & athlete industries, both locally and globally. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment.Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.Proven capacity to form strategic partnerships, build interpersonal relationships, and respect cultural diversity;  ability to be inclusive, collaborative, respectful and support broad organizational interests
