Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position and is $75,000-95,000/yr. 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview:

Audacy is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable remote Sports Talk Host to join our national sports programming team. We’re looking for a talented broadcaster who can deliver compelling, entertaining, and informative sports content across radio, digital, and social platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, brings strong creative instincts, and has a deep understanding of today’s sports media landscape.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Host live sports talk programs that are engaging, informative, and entertainingCollaborate daily with co-hosts, producers, and program directors to meet show objectives and deliver high-quality contentAssist in developing daily show strategies, storylines, guest bookings, and on-air executionInteract with listeners on-air and through social media to build audience engagement and loyaltyCreate and manage compelling content across Audacy’s digital video and social media platformsAvailable to travel for events and weekend programmingMaintain strong relationships with key figures and brands within the sports industryResearch and prepare for broadcasts, ensuring timely and accurate sports coverageAdhere to all FCC guidelines and protect the integrity of the station’s broadcast licenseMonitor show performance, commercial logs, and promotional elements during shiftsParticipate in station promotions, remote broadcasts, and public appearances as neededCollaborate on content ideas and innovative approaches to sports entertainmentOther duties as assigned by management Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

Proven experience as an on-air sports radio host in a major or mid-size marketDeep knowledge of sports culture, leagues, and current eventsDemonstrated ability to deliver entertaining, insightful, and well-prepared commentaryStrong communication skills with a clear, professional on-air voiceAbility to work collaboratively in a multi-host environmentExperience creating digital and social media contentAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredUnderstanding of FCC regulations and compliance standards Important Notes:
