What you’ll be doing:
Service the field locations of our contracted accounts, focus on automotive dealerships: Increases sales within existing customer base through proactive activities such as customer calls, marketing, delivery of exceptional customer service, developing an awareness of customer requirements/preferences and changes in the local market, competitors and industryProspecting: Secures new accounts through networking, referrals, and cold callsIncreases sales by staying current with new products and trendsResearches and prepares quotes to ensure maximum profit and market competitivenessCompletes the request form on SFDC to submit quote and order requests to Special Order TeamBrings all client quote requests over $10,000 to the attention of the Regional Sales ManagerBrings all client quote requests over $50,000 to the attention of the Regional Sales Manager and National Director of SalesMaintains and increases margins to within client and department guidelinesEnsures customer satisfaction by working with members of the sales team as well as members of sales support teams across the businessActs as a proxy for the client internally at SPP when interacting with all Account Services and Special Order teamsWorks with Special Order Team to ensure that all Special Orders are placed and delivered according to the customer requirementsWhat you bring to the table:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentations skills with a flair for salesIndustry experience (ie: understanding of decoration processes, quoting, and SAGE) preferredExceptional customer service skills Highly proficient business written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to discern message contentStrong organizational skills and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and strong attention to detailAbility to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing work environment and ability to demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude at all times even during stressful or difficult situationsAbility to support company and management initiatives and/or decisions and the ability to prioritize and execute work under tight deadlinesStrong problem solving and analytical skillsets Maintains a record of sales activities and follow-up requirements in the designated systemAssists in the development and maintenance of the SPP brand by utilizing promotional materials to introduce and increase customer knowledge of SPP in the Canadian marketWhat’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma required or equivalent work experience1-3 years sales or customer service experience.Proficient use of Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)Experience with Salesforce is an assetGood math aptitudeWhat’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
University or college diploma in sales or business or equivalent working experience within a B2B sales environment is preferredCSP designation or CPSA graduate is preferredExperience in the Promotional Merchandise Industry preferredWe Offer:
