                                                                                                        COMPETITIVE PAY: $18-$26/Hr. (Based on Experience)

 

 

OJ Insulation is seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Foam Applicator to join our team. As a Spray Foam Insulation Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of spray foam insulation for residential/commercial projects in Southern California and the surrounding areas.

 

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently install spray foam insulation in accordance with project specifications and industry standardsPrepare job sites by protecting surfaces and setting up equipmentOperate and maintain spray foam equipment, including spray guns, hoses, and compressorsMeasure and mix chemicals accurately to achieve the desired foam consistencyApply spray foam insulation to walls, ceilings, attics, and other designated areasEnsure proper coverage and thickness of the insulation for maximum energy efficiency and performanceMonitor and adjust equipment settings as needed to achieve optimal foam applicationFollow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelinesMaintain cleanliness of work areas and equipmentCollaborate with the project team to meet project deadlines and quality standards

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Spray Foam Applicator or similar roleKnowledge of spray foam insulation materials, equipment, and application techniquesUnderstanding of safety procedures and best practices in handling chemicals and equipmentAbility to read and interpret project plans and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work with precisionStrong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditionsEffective communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an insulation installer is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.Maintain a valid Driver LicenseAbility to work in various environments, including confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces and elevated surfaces. Able to work at heights up to 45ft.Experience in the construction Industry a plusAble to climb up and down a ladder, scaffolds, and work withing the framing of the building Able to perform basic math skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently or with a crewAble to climb into, operate and work in an aerial liftStrong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting insulation materials.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Basic understanding of safety procedures and the importance of workplace safety.Section 3 Workers and Targeted Section 3 Workers residing within the service area or neighborhood of the project are strongly encouraged to apply.Must be able to wear a respirator for log period of time throughout the dayPosition requires a drug test and physical to be completed, contingent upon employment.Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., OSHA certification, spray foam applicator certification) are preferred but not mandatory

Must be able to use common hand tools; including scissors, utility knife, saws, pliers, and stapling hammer, drills, poly gunsMust be able to read job instructions and record materials used per each work/job orderMust be able to work in tight places including attics and crawlspacesMust be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 100lbsMust be able to climb ladders, scaffolding and aerial liftsMust be able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees to install insulationMust be able to stand for extended periods of time

Work Environment

Works in a construction environment; able to adapt to weather conditions.
