You have completed a High School diploma or equivalent. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

NACE Level 1 or higher qualification Experience with supporting operation tasks and coordinating with multiple operations and technical groups.
Experience with secondary side system remediation / typical power generation cooling water systems / Nuclear industry experience
Familiarity with coating applications 
Mechanically inclined 
Organized and quick learner Familiarity with Coating and lining applications and associated tooling
Supports project planning, including equipment/tool readiness, mock-up testing, and material coordination.
Supports on-site team during project executions; clearly communicate with Framatome leads to resolve questions, plan,  and coordinate work.
Follos project implementation documentation, including procedures, work packages, site requirement plans, etc.
Knowledge of nuclear, excellent verbal communication skills, and a drive for problem solving in a dynamic environment.

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Spray in Place Field Services Technician in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Component Replacement & Repair Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

Supports the Spray-In-Place Lining Solutions product line operations activities, including spray applications, tooling maintenance, and other project activities.
Supporting project operations at our Spray-In-Place Lining Facility and on customer sites, including familiarization of all equipment/tooling, performing equipment/tooling readiness, and executing projects in accordance with Framatome polices and procedures. 

 

This position requires up to 50% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $27.00- $34.62 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
