Overview We are seeking a full-time Operations Seasonal Associate (Spring 2025 High-School Work Study: Warehouse) in our Olathe, KS location. This position is desigened for high school students to start working part time in January who would be looking to go full-time upon graduation in the spring. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving material, inputting data and other inventory movement within a computerized system with accuracy while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Essential Functions Responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement Receive, transact and sort material Follow Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) guidelines for static sensitive materials Pack materials to ensure adequately delivery to internal and external customers Operate RF device to transact and move material Must meet quality and productivity metrics Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment Must possess the ability to safely and efficiently operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin’s Attendance Policy) and all safety standards and policies Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime Basic Qualifications Must be a minimum of 16 years old Strong experience and aptitude with computers Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility Must possess the ability to safely and efficiently operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack Desired Qualifications Previous warehouse or related experience Database experience including Microsoft Excel and Access Previous Oracle Experience Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
