What You'll Be Doing

As an Apprentice you'll be at the heart of what we do, making a real impact from day one. Here's a glimpse of what your journey could include:

Working as a member of the Argus Fire Sprinkler Design Team Learning to use Auto CAD, Revit and Navisworks Learning how to design life saving Fire Sprinkler systems Gaining knowledge of the rules, regulations and British standards for the Fire Sprinkler industry to ensure all designs are legally compliant Developing skills in hydraulic calculations Assisting Sprinkler Design Engineers on their projects and in client meetings Collaborating with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience Developing your skills as a Sprinkler Designer though a mix of internal and external qualifications and in house training Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, making safety and sustainability a priority in every task.

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Level 3 construction based technical qualification which normally runs for 2-3 years. You will be fully supported by our partners to achieve this qualification by having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.

We're searching for ambitious, driven individuals who are excited about learning and ready to take on new challenges. To succeed as an apprentice, you'll need:

A keen interest in your chosen field. The ability to think critically and find solutions. An interest in Design and Engineering Dedication to completing your apprenticeship and growing with Mitie. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent) or Scottish National 5 certificates (Grade A-C). Certificates must be provided at the interview stage.
