As our Sr Clinical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for providing training to customers and internal teams as well as working collaboratively with both sales and marketing to build strategies around products and services. You will also evaluate product/ service performance to help develop and update company goals and objectives.  As a subject - matter expert, you will advise management on any relevant product concerns. Utilizing your extensive experience and judgment, you will influence product selection based on analysis of market research and new trends. In addition, you will have the responsibility of Collaborating with Partners and developing education pathways and drive Clinical Education marketing projects (e.g. The Clinical Minutes, E-Learning and Partnerships)

Your Impact Travel at least 60% of the time to provide training to customers and internal teamsIntegrate and coordinate sales and training efforts with internal sales team and other O&P vendorsDevelop analyses for O&P client clinics sales efforts by identifying products and services that are under-leveragedInfluence marketing and educational strategies to increase sales, paying specific attention to key sales objectives assigned by management (for example – MPKs/MPFs, Lower Limb Orthotics)Provide training for clients with respect to products and related services. Monitor and assess performance of all programsHigh Level Collaboration with key influencers in the Prosthetic and Orthotic IndustryCollaboration with MSOP Schools building strong relationships and opportunities to influence studentsOther projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications A baccalaureate degree or masters in orthotics and prosthetics (or its foreign equivalent) OR a baccalaureate degree (or its foreign equivalent) and post graduate certificate in orthotics and/or prosthetics from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)Current board certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC)(CPO or BOCPO)Requires a minimum of 7 years post certification experience.Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time.Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.  Additional Success Factors Previous Supplier/Manufacture or School Educator experienceStrong Collaboration and Leadership skillsUse of personal computer, MS Office applications, and general office equipmentProficient analytical, interpersonal, communication, organizational and numerical skills essentialWell versed in PowerpointExcellent organization skills and high attention to detailKnowledge of medical communityKnowledge of prosthetic and orthotic productsKnowledge of facility contractingAbility to operate independently in a self-directed mannerAbility to sellAbility to maintain customer relationsAbility to communicate persuasively both orally and in writingPresentation and educational skillsMust be able to travel frequentlyAlways act with integrity in all ways and remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.Focus on superior outcomes and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.
