Job Description

The Spare Parts Warehouse Analyst's primary duty is to pick orders and put product away in support of the distribution processes for all shifts.  

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Ensure delivery and service quality towards customers. Coordinate the production receipt, storage, picking, delivery, and tracking of finished tires both domestically and internationally including document preparation.Agree on receiving quantities and dates with production. Ensure compliance to all mandatory requirements including Safety, Environmental, ISO, Quality, Plant policy, Corporate Policy, housekeeping, etc.Complete special tasked assigned by Warehouse Manager & Plant Operations Manager.Evaluate optimization potential for existing warehousing and production supply processes.Maintain processes and system setting to ensure on time deliveries.Resolve maintenance issues during daily system operation and work on optimization potential.Maintain SAP system master data.Maintain warehouse storage conditions to optimize storage capacities while ensuring efficient warehouse operations and inventory control including FIFO.Provide warehouse reporting such as: Inventory Accuracy (Cycle Counts),  Age, Bin Utilization, etc.Perform execution of both cycle counts and physical inventories. Ensures 5S standard throughout all warehouse areas and functions.Ensure ESH rules and regulations

 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

High school diploma or GEDAbility to work 12 hour 2-2-3 shift pattern including every other weekendAbility to learn SAP and other software utilized in the warehouse processes.Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Ability to lift up to no more than 50 lbsFollow 100% of all safety standards set by Continental 100% of the time.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is not able to offer visa supportContinental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

Experience with SAP and/or similar ERP systemsForklift driving experience preferredQuality Controlled Document Experience Knowledge of Process Flow and Set up check sheets

This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  as needed in the required areas.  The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
