Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. **Job Summary** Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Supply Chain and Program Management to fill a critical IPT Lead role supporting the SPY-6 Program. This position will provide professionals with opportunities to grow their skills in supply chain, operations management, technical operations, business communications, and leadership In this role you will leverage Operations Management, Supply Chain, technical knowledge, and process capability expertise to improve SPY-6 overall performance. You will lead a team with ownership over the Above Deck Product Line and work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and the broader Supply Chain organization to drive Raytheon requirements for manufacturing and quality capabilities internally and within our supply base. You will be accountable to ensure SPY-6 Above Deck suppliers are supporting Program needs, risks are mitigated, and efficiencies identified. Duties also include being the primary interface across all operation value streams, lead Operations role for implementing engineering change orders, presenting reports to the Customer and Directors representing their IPT team and operations performance, the overall management and coordination of recurring and non-recurring manufacturing resources to support program requirements, lead Operations through IPDS Gate processes and developing Manufacturing Plans, and supporting quarterly EAC’s. You will be the catalyst for program execution of Supplier Engagement Strategy activities including ensuring appropriate budget, resource, schedule, and execution. You will manage the supplier backlog and ensure requirements are prioritized appropriately and made visible. You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of performance metrics, and development of Estimate at Completion (EAC). **What You Will Do:** + Lead, teach, and train a team of five. + Communicate and translate SPY-6 requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk. + Ensure suppliers are operating to and supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS. + Develop and execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans. + Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues. + Act as a key supplier and customer interface. + Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s performance. + Facilitate necessary product and process changes through collaboration with suppliers and Engineering/Quality. + Facilitate resolution of product non-conformances. + Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards. + Demonstrated ability to lead Manufacturing Operations strategies and utilize CORE/R6Sigma best practices. + Lead the effort to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives for both recurring efforts and new business opportunities. + Generate production plans, make/where plans, and coordinate across organizations for transition to build activities. **Qualifications you Must Have:** + Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. + U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Prior work experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and/or Power point) + Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including but not limited to SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES + Experience in capital planning (development), MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) Assessments, Make/Buy/Where process. + EVMS L2 Certification or ability to learn. + CORE/Six Sigma experience + Knowledge of using IPDS (Integrated Product Development System) and create and manage a complex IMS using Microsoft Project processes. + Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility + Previous leadership position in a fast paced technical or manufacturing environment that included multiple working organizations; this includes significant experience building strong cross-functional teams with proven results. + Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing. + Ability to lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive a results and breakdown barriers. **What We Offer** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
