What you will doWhat you will do
The Supplier quality engineer is actively involved in all supplier quality activities from supplier selection, supplier development through on-going performance monitoring.
He/she is an active member in the supplier selection and business award decision
He/she is responsible to carry out the quality assurance activities in the frame of on-going projects in accordance with documented guidelines and instructions.
He/she manages portfolio of suppliers as assigned by SNQ manager
He/she is in charge to communicate the quality targets and quality requirements to suppliers and make sure of their respect
He/she has the responsibility to manage and challenge the overall quality performance of suppliers delivering any Volvo locations
For parts in production, he/she is responsible to steer supplier improvement and request corrective actions
For parts in operation, he/she would evaluate/monitor supplier capacity and part delivery status closely.
Who are you?
• Good at Electrical/electronic relative process knowledge
• Good quality management and capacity evaluation knowledge
• Capacity to work in a multicultural team
• Good communication, negotiation skills and English speaking as working language
• Good analytic skill and logical way of thinking
• Committed to customer satisfaction.
• Self-driven and work under pressure, Agile with positive mindset
• This job needs to travel to suppliers frequently.

Qualifications
- University degree required. Master of Science/engineering preferred
- 5 years’ experience in automotive industry with supplier quality management experience
