This position will be **full-time** and **remote.** **What You’ll Do** **Scope: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2022, 2019 versions** + SME (L3 or above only) DBA consultant with ten plus years of experience will provide enterprise services to build, maintain MS SQL-Servers and Oracle with latest version. Implement CIS security best practices and automate the build standard. Implement policy management features to leverage the product features to roll out changes seamlessly. Example: SQL 2019 or above, Oracle 19c and above. + Install, upgrade and patch both existing and new database environments and other supporting tools such as SCCM or Ansible based automation. Twice a month, requires patching both non-prod and Prod/DR environments with latest security patches available. + Implement alerts through SCOM and OEM monitoring on new build servers environment to automate DBA proactive jobs and actively monitoring. Having Windows PowerShell or Linux scripting experience is mandatory to perform the job duty. + Must have experience with ServiceNow and auto ticketing implementation for database monitoring alerts, Hygiene best practice implementation, SDLC, change control best practices. Consultant will participate 24X7 production database support (Rota based) as required. + Consultant must provide technical documentation of the work including all scripts and commands applicable in a standard word format. Must provide status of the accomplishment on a daily or weekly basis. Perform general troubleshooting on all database-related issues and documenting solution steps. He/She should have a good team player skill and working with Third party-based vendor applications to understand complex application architecture and support the database requirements. + Partnership with application development, production support teams and Implement changes to the production environment CAB based change management guidelines and approval. Non-Production will be approved SNOW- SR based. He/She will be working with various CAPEX or OPEX type of projects tasks and update the project managers on a daily basis. + Candidate should have experience independently on complex projects and at the same time possessing excellent team skills to be able to collaborate with various infrastructure groups in the client organization, Interfacing with database and other vendors for technical support. + Understanding of current support processes, definition of the to-be processes and gap analysis + Partnering with IT-Risk, CISO organization for planning and implementing security initiatives, performing vulnerability assessments, patch management, anti-virus management. Having knowledge of Qualys Scan is preferred. + Establishing process for maintaining sound backups for all database environments. Such as SQL Server Full, Differential, Log backups, RMAN backups, Export and Import dump automation. + Proactively monitor the SQL and Oracle production databases and ensure alerts are provided when they occur, take corrective action to resolve these issues, and alert the IT management team of the issue. + Consultant will follow the SDLC policies and implement such policies and procedures to mitigate future risks. + Review, hardening and securing the current databases as per CIS standards. Provide guidance for securing databases which store sensitive and/or restricted data + Implementing database security controls via CyberArk to prevent data loss/leakage or unauthorized access to databases. Manage/Enhance Database Engine Security Configuration. + Identify root cause analysis (“RCA”) of performance issues and recommend the best possible solutions. Conduct RCAs for recurring production Database Administration related problems and automation is the Key. + Must have work experience with Always on Availability Groups (AG), HA-DR environment and advance database features such as Transparent data encryption (TDE), Policy management, Resource Governor, and Extended events. + Must have experience with data platform tools such as Delphix to virtualize the database environment, dynamic data masking and DCT implementation. + Must have experience with auditing, data architecture, data warehouse Azure Purview, SQL Server and AWS – Databricks or RedShift. performance tuning, ETL – SSIS tuning for faster loads on heavy volumes of data processing + Nice to have experience with Cohesity backup appliance, F5 Load balancer to route the sessions, Backup encryption and AWS – S3 storage gateway implementation to upload backups securely in AWS cloud. + Nice to have experience with third party vendor based financial applications and collaboration with fintech experience to modernize, portfolio optimization and rationalization of the database estate. **Oracle SME DBA must to have experience and skills:** + Ten plus years of experience with Oracle installation and setup of Oracle 21c, 19c, 12c, 11g, 10g databases. He/She should have experience with ASM, CRSCTL for HA, Flashback recovery. + Strong experience with Oracle Quarterly patches and upgrades from End of Life products (EOL) for various versions of Oracle products such as 19c, 21c or above . + Expert in High Availability technologies such as Oracle 19c RAC, multiplexing with ASM. Linux OS experience is must to expand ASM, DATA, FRA disks expansion. + Must have technical documentation of the work performed and very good team player skills. + Implement Oracle 19cc Multi- tenant, database installation, configuration and management. + Need to support 24x7 Production servers in shift basis. Must have strong experience with production DBA experience in supporting Oracle Database versions (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c, 21c). Data Guard experience to setup Physical/Standby/Snapshot Databases, Database Replication/Clone. + Data guard (DG) set up across data centers. Backup, Recovery and Restore of various Oracle versions Databases. DG Failover and failback as needed during DR test. + Experience with Oracle Grid Control & Grid Infrastructure installation and configuration. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM monitoring setup) for centralized monitoring. + Excellent DBA expertise with Production Database Administration, RMAN backup/recovery, Performance Tuning, Trouble-shooting, High Availability, Architecture Design, Infrastructure Analysis, Backup & Recovery and Disk Storage (ASM). + Expert in Administration and Tools including OEM, RMAN, Cold & Hot Backups , Expdp/Impdp, OLAP/Partition/RAC, TOAD, SQL*PLUS + Expert in Production Database Daily Administration (such as data loading, data processing, job scheduling via OEM, UNIX) and + Data Warehouse maintenance such as partitioning tables, creating materialized views. + Automating Database or schema level refresh in development/test environment from production backups or tape storage. + Data Security implementation via CyberArk, Firewall, User and schema management etc. + Optimizing SGA and PGA memory area based on application needs. + Experience with Automatic memory management (AMM), Automatic database diagnostic management (ADDM), Huge pages configuration for very large memory blocks. + Expert in Database Health Maintenance using Enterprise Manager, Self-developed shell scripts & methodology, Diagnostic, Tuning Pack and DBMS_ Utilities/Procedures. + Strong experience with installation, Setup, Maintenance and Upgrade of Oracle Databases RAC/stand alone in Linux OS environment. **What You'll Need** Required: + Person must have a bachelor or master degree with computer science as a major concentration. + AWS cloud certification is vital to perform hybrid cloud, public cloud and private data centers. Nice to have exposure with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning experience in data engineering platform. + 10+ years in banking and financial services, with a focus on IT and operations project management, knowledge of Core Banking products and payment architecture. + Agile based project management experience with any of the following functionality: Customer, conversions, deposits, Teller/Branch, Data Warehouse, cold storage, imaging, accounting, regulatory reporting, tax reporting, general ledger, Digital channels + 5+ years of supporting complex projects, and experience specifically with commercial Banking applications. Strong experience managing third party vendor relationship with Banking Vendors. + Experience in developing reports for weekly, monthly project status meeting and periodic steering committee meetings. + Experience with Cybersecurity implementation and infrastructure engineering. + Knowledge of Banking solutions and applications integrated with banking solutions such as BSA/AML, ACH payments, transaction processing, loans booking, Cash Management and Private wealth management. Broad commercial and private banking experience.
