Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a SQL Database Administrator to provide support to the FLETC Enterprise IT Support Services contract located at FLETC Headquarters in Glynco, GA.

Responsibilities Maintaining database files, reviewing audit logs, proactive problem solvingCare and feeding of databases to ensure security, performance and availabilityDesign, install, configure, backup, administer, manage, upgrade, troubleshoot, test, monitor, etc. all SQL Servers Knowledge of flat files, FoxPro, Microsoft Access and Excel Provide technical direction on new database solutions that will assist with optimization Provide database guidance and DBA support for app development Assistance with migration of legacy data into newly built databases General understanding of the cloud Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis or a related fieldMinimum of five years of hands-on design and implementation of databases in Microsoft SQL ServerU.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Desired:

Experience with FLETC or another DHS agencySQL Certified DBA Oracle Certified DBA MCSA or better certification Active Secret clearance
