SQL Server DBA - INTL Austria
Job Description Our client is looking for a self-motivated, highly experienced Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join their applications team to help stand up and maintain and optimize the infrastructure. The DBA is responsible for completing/resolving the 2nd and 3rd level escalation of tickets assigned by the manager. They will be responsible for tasks such as development of best practices and repeatable procedures for deploying databases, day-to-day operational activities including break/fix, capacity management, backup and recovery, database replication setup/management and ongoing database change reviews. The team also builds and maintains large-scale and very high transaction SQL Server databases on Windows Server platforms. This individual will also work in tandem with the other teams, preparing documentations and specifications as required. This will be a 100% remote opportunity; the individual will need to will sit in the Vienna, Austria. Skills and Requirements Strong proficiency in SQL Server database management and administration including with large scale SQL Server databases.  Hands on experience implementing and maintaining: - Microsoft Windows Server Systems 2019- Building availability groups - Active Directory - Group policy management - SQL Server DBA Admin including back ups, recoveries, and maintenance - Documentation - creating standardized processes/best practices of how to create these systems - Clustering - Fail over testing - Helping 1st level support team in budapest - Jira knowledge of Veeam Knowledge of development tool - installing visual studios null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
