Job Description The Industry/Area Head for B2B Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and shaping the sales strategy. With an agile sales mindset and strong leadership skills, they oversee account managers in, developing comprehensive sales plans, and analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities in the industry or area they focus in. By leveraging their industry knowledge and expertise, they lead their squad in achieving sales objectives, nurturing key client relationships, and driving long-term business success in a competitive Telco/ICT services market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Industry/Area Strategy: The Industry/Area Head for Sales is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy in penetrating and nurturing target customers in their industry/area. This involves identifying market opportunities, defining target customer segments, and establishing sales goals and metrics.

Squad Leadership: Leading the sales team is a crucial aspect of the role. The Industry/Area Head provides guidance, sets performance targets, and fosters a high-performance culture. They recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to meet their targets.

Sales Performance Management: Monitoring and evaluating sales performance is essential to the Industry/Area Head’s role. They analyze sales data, track progress against targets, and implement corrective measures when necessary. Regular reporting to the sales mancom  is essential to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is crucial for long-term success. The Industry/Area Head works closely with customer service and account managers to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities.

Industry Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape is vital. The Industry/Area Head should have a deep understanding of Telco/ICT services, market dynamics, and evolving customer needs to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 5 -10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the Telco/ICT industry.

Must have managed  a portfolio of at least 500M (Band C)/2B (Band D) pesos in annual gross revenues.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.

Deep knowledge and understanding of the Telco/ICT industry and the B2B market, including industry trends, technologies, products, and services.

Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous sales performance improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Having a technical degree in IT or Engineering  is a plus.
