SQUADRON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Responsibilities You will serve as a subject matter expert for assigned special programs and assistant to the Squadron Commanding Officer on all matters relating to long-range planning, project prioritization, coordination, staffing, problem resolution, and functions You will act as the Squadron's senior civilian, responsible for compliance with the unique requirements of multiple civilian systems. You will formulate Squadron policy to support operational concepts, training programs, and unit readiness. You will perform multi-year resource planning and analysis of programs, interpreting widely varying requirements contained in planning and programming guidance and conducts long and short range resources requirements forecasts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Being responsible for compliance with the unique requirements of multiple civilian personnel systems and initiating the development and/or modification of business rules/practices as necessary to ensure sound management practices are utilized to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Extensive experience with special operations is highly desired. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
