Role Summary

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Alation, you will pioneer innovation in data analytics and business intelligence, driving impactful solutions beyond the confines of traditional sales. In this capacity, you will serve as a strategic partner to our clients, aiding them in unlocking the boundless potential of their data.

What you’ll be doing:

Maximize potential and drive incremental growth across our client portfolio, innovating sales in both new and existing accounts.

Cultivate strong relationships, serving as the go-to advisor for major customers.

Make commitments and deliver; the success of our customers begins with you.

Collaborate with partners, contributing to collective growth and improvement.

Navigate the intricacies of large enterprise contracts seamlessly.

Drive enhancements in Lifetime Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).

What you need:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Over 8 years of successful sales experience in SaaS Data or Business Intelligence enterprise software.

A strong Sales DNA: exposure to MEDDICC, Force Management, and Value Selling are not required but are advantageous.

Understanding of the sales process from initiation to conclusion.

Strategic thinking, capable of analyzing needs and delivering solutions.

Excellent business acumen, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Proven ability to work towards individual or team goals.

Demonstrated project/stakeholder management and organizational skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
