Sr Account Manager - Performance Channel
Job Purpose

This role is responsible for the growth, maintenance, and new business development for the Spicer and Victor Reinz product lines in the Dana Aftermarket Performance Channel.  This position serves as an ambassador for Dana in the Performance channel and will build and assist the LV Sales Team in maintaining strong relationships with key Performance customers.  Interaction and representation in the Performance media will be key to increase Dana Performance brand awareness, sales revenue, and profitability for this niche channel. The position also contributes to many Dana cross functional areas. This role will act as the key liaison with OES Account Managers to campaign the “halo effect” with Ford and FCA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Reports directly to the Senior Manager, Sales for Dana Light Duty Aftermarket  Maintains current Performance aftermarket business Develops new business for Victor Reinz and Spicer Products Works closely with DANA cross functional Dana teams including customer service, pricing, finance, product planning, plants, and content in order to insure maximum customer service levels Performs necessary fieldwork with Performance WD salespersons and Dana LV AFM sales managers Manages relationship with manufacturer rep agencies and field sales personnel Solicits competitive Performance intelligence Understand profitability requirements of Performance aftermarket customers Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Solicit Dana VOC (Voice of Customer) information on products for improvement. Performs Quarterly Business Reviews with Performance customers. Ability to speak publicly on behalf of Dana Performance Products Inspires and solicits Performance marketing support Supplies Performance products forecast to appropriate plants Assists with warranty related to Performance products Is technically savvy. Coordinate and attend Jeep related industry events   Qualificiations

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred in the automotive aftermarket, preferably in the performance channel. Preferred education minimum of an Bachelors Degree in Business. Working knowledge of the internal combustion engine and suspension parts.
