Job Posting Title: Sr Accountant Location: Dallas - Shared Services Additional Posting Details: M-F - 40 hours - Hybrid Schedule Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Maintain General Ledger + Month end / Year end responsibility, close, reporting, variance analyses + Reconcile balance sheet accounts + Prepare financials as assigned + Assist with tax audits and return requests as assigned + Special projects as assigned + Assist with annual budget process + Assist with annual audit process + Assist with developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls ​ Required Skills/Abilities + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required + Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required + CPA or CPA eligible preferred + Knowledge of GAAP + Proficient with Microsoft Office Products + Ability to effectively communicate with various persons + Proofing various items + Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
