TITLE: Sr. Accounting Analyst T&HS
LOCATION: Westchester, IL
REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager of T&HS US/Can
The Sr. Accounting Analyst T&HS will prepare reports, provide financial analysis, and support new incentive compensation programs and metrics. This role will also work on special projects related to accounting and finance needs, including the new Solutions business revenue stream. They will also work on ad-hoc financial reporting to meet management’s needs and ensure accurate financial statements.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop tracking and reporting of Company New Business Wins and Solutions sales through salesforce, power BI and available software.Calculate and accrue for company incentive plans based on metrics calculated by Corporate FP&A.Track T&HS sales incentive metrics as identified by HR, provide accruals to global services for monthly posting.Coordinate with Corporate Controllership to develop accounting processes and procedures for Solutions service revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP.Review and provide further analytics on transfer pricing data and pricing for affiliates.Support the development of new segment balance sheet reporting within T&HS Segment as well as cross-segment reporting and preparation of monthly intersegment sales journal entries.Prepare month end balance sheet close segmentation analysis and segmented cash flow.Ensure completeness of T&HS selling general and administrative expense reporting monthly to provide journal entries to global services for posting.Review prepaid expenses to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.Validate and review balance sheet accruals and reconciliations quarterly to ensure accurate financial statements.Work on special projects focused on financial/strategic analysis, financial forecasting, or financial reporting as required. Perform the semi-annual user access review for SAP users and segregation of duties.Develop collaborative and influential relationships with key leaders and stakeholders within the T&HS Segment and Strategy team.Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the Corporate Finance team and regional finance teams.Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA certification desired but not required3-5 years relevant experienceSAP Experience desiredHave strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsHave strong written, verbal communication and presentation skillsHave demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHave demonstrated experience working as part of a teamHave demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesEmbraces change and is open to new ideas and approaches#LI-BS1

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
