Position SummaryJoin our world-class Finance/Insurance team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Lagunilla as a "Sr Accounts Receivable Representative". Manage accounts receivable efficiently and effectively, supporting our mission and ambitious goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all aspects of a portfolio of customers, ensuring strict compliance with payment terms and credit limits using ERP systems.Perform comprehensive risk assessments and make proven recommendations on credit limits and terms.Support the team in successfully achieving annual targets on collections by facilitating credit risk assessments.Track unapplied and unidentified payments to maintain accurate financial records.Conduct financial statement analysis and issue recommendations for credit line increases.Manage the "Credit Hold" process, ensuring timely release based on credit analysis.Set up and review credit terms for new clients, negotiating payment plans as needed.Collaborate with customers and internal departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.Identify and analyze credit notes, debit notes, and cash applications to ensure accurate account statements.Facilitate credit card payments and manage web billing systems.Prepare financial statements and reports for internal use.Prioritize and manage own email inbox with a focus on outstanding customer service.Inform supervisors of uncollectable accounts and support third-party collection processes.Participate in updating process documentation and find opportunities for process improvements.Minimum Requirements/QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; bachelor’s in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.Previous experience in Shared Service Centers.Proficient in B2 English and MS Office applications.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and others.Additional Desirable RequirementsExperience with Cforia and/or Get Paid systems.ProficienciesBuild customer dedication through trust and outstanding service.Embrace practical process improvements to improve efficiency.Communicate openly and honestly with all collaborators.Foster personal and professional growth within the team.Leverage business efficiency to make data-driven decisions.Promote continuous learning and organizational relationships.Always put the customer first and own your results.Find a better way every day through intellectual curiosity and PPI.Thermo Fisher Scientific is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
