Sr Acquisition Support

Overall Assignment Description:  

•             Provide support to Program Management Office’s (PMO) for The Globe 

•             Provides operational engineering and advice.

•             Provides Acquisition advice

 

Duties include:

Specific tasks: 

Engineering Support:

•             Coordinates and accomplishes system tasks involving; engineering, security, testing, integration, transition, deployment, operations and sustainment.

•             Reviews and provides technical assessment of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) for corporate business applications 

•             Assists with updating or creating corporate business applications technical documents such as (Interface Control Documents (ICD), System Requirements or Description Documents (SRD/SDD, architectural diagrams)

•             Coordinates with TFB and the Configuration Control Board on corporate business applications System Requirements or Description Documents (SRD/SDD) for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) submissions into proposed changes to the enterprise baseline.

•             Coordinates, participates and makes recommendations in system engineering and technical exchange meetings between program contractors and enterprise elements; and provide technical input to program briefings and other documents as needed.

•             Assists with the evaluating corporate business application requirements, capability deployment and operations integration through review of design and programmatic documentation and milestone and readiness reviews to manage cost, schedule and performance.

•             Coordinates, participates and makes recommendations in acquisition milestone events including but not limited to:

o             Requirement reviews.

o             Design reviews (Initial Requirements Review (IRR), Initial Design Review (IDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Milestone A & B).

o             Test readiness planning/reviews (Requirement Verification Matrix (RVM) Meetings, Factory Testing, Pre-Ship, Test Readiness, Operational Readiness, and BETA 2).

o             Program management reviews.

Acquisition

•             Assist with acquisition document generation and review.  

•             Assists with Contract board review preparation and tracking.

•             Coordinates PMO workflow for the acquisition process to include scheduling meetings and tracking open actions.

 

Coordination, Meetings and Program Management Support:

•             Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding NGA Contract Acquisition process to assist the PM in developing an acquisition strategy for new or existing contractor support.

•             Assists and prepares Market Research documentation

•             Preparing program status and strategic planning briefings for PM presentation at various senior level leadership discussions.

•             Maintains a professional rapport and positive business relationships.

•             Generates Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) capturing derived requirements, deliverables, and technical assessment of engineering effort for new or updated tasks.

 

Skills and Experience:

Required:

•             Twelve (12) years of overall experience and Eight (8) years of relevant experience

•             Must have an active TS/SCI clearance, CI poly preferred

•             B.S. degree, or higher, in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

•             Experience with all stages of system life-cycle and operational concepts through system engineering, user engagement, IPT management, risk assessment and mitigation, test and deployment.

•             Demonstrated experience designing, engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining corporate business applications and systems.

 

Desired:

•             Experience in DoD acquisition process
