Sr Adv Hardware Engineer
Resideo is currently seeking a Senior Advanced Electrical engineer to lead the design of smart home wired and wireless products. You should have rich hardware development experience, strong analog, and digital circuit knowledge, responsible, willing to learn, be able to lead complex hardware design, overseeing the development of intricate electronic systems, conducting in-depth analysis, troubleshooting advanced hardware issues, and mentoring junior, senior engineers. **JOB DUTIES:** + Lead the design and development of complex hardware systems, including schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout, ensuring compliance with performance specifications and industry standards.Drive and follow the release process of HW design, including DFM and DFT. + Lead the feasibility study and HW architecture design according to the Marketing requirement, including HW system solution, Antenna solution review, Mechanical assembly review, Risk identification, Risk mitigation plan, HW development schedule etc. + Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with firmware engineers, Engineering leader, product manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration. + Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures to thoroughly validate hardware designs against specifications. + Conduct root cause analysis on hardware failures, identify design flaws, and implement corrective actions. + Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, BOMs, test reports, and other technical related docs. + Lead the key issue support, including quality control, field issue, factory issue etc. + Work with Sourcing and CE team for cost and lead time control, CE/VE solution. + Develop and implement innovative hardware solutions for new products. + Lead conference meeting with global team (project leader/ cross function team) to coordinate project progress. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + 10 years+ work experience in MPU/MCU + 10 years + working experience in HW design **WE VALUE:** + Proficient with MPU/MCU-based HW development, and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, SDIO etc. + Good EMC/EMI design skills, familiar with leading industrial standard and regulation.
