As a Sr Advanced Data Scientist here at Honeywell, you will work with a multi-disciplined team of experts on pathfinding technology implementations for next generation products utilizing. This specific role will be focused on development of computer vision, artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomy technologies for autonomous aerial vehicle platforms. Your contributions will play a central role in the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions, contributing to Honeywell's commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology.
You will report directly to our Manager of autonomy, computer vision and AI research group, and you will work out of our Plymouth, MN location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

+ Responsible for conducting research, development and demonstration of AI, computer vision and autonomy technologies
+ You will be responsible for developing new concepts and technologies, and showing that they work
+ Help drive growth as a technology expert through interfaces with internal and external customers and partners
+ Lead and drive technology development programs
+ Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities that require quick adaptation

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
The annual base salary range for this position is $134,000 - $165,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
+ 5+ years relevant experience in AI or computer vision technologies
WE VALUE
+ Master’s Degree or PhD from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as robotics, data science aerospace engineering, or related field.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C/C+
+ + Experience with AI libraries such as TensorFlow, and PyTorch
+ Experience establishing MLOPs and CI/CD pipelines
+ Ability to solve complex problems through analysis and innovation
