Sr. Advanced Embedded Engr
The purpose of the Sr. Advanced Embedded Engineer role is to ensure Radios & Platforms technical leadership excellence as an End State team addressing multiple Radios & Platform Avionics products in collaboration with stakeholders ranging from Production Support Engineering, Factory, Qualification, HASS & HALT groups. The role demonstrates thought leadership across Honeywell in one or more technical disciplines and takes ownership for identification of technical talent and coaching cross functional teams in technical capability development. This role of Sr. Advanced Embedded Engineer for commercial Radios & Platform Avionics Testing activity across Global, includes the following responsibilities: Develop new Avionics test designs architecture driving towards common core, reusable component library, modular approach, HUE architecture that align with end user community Provide technical expertise to ensure sound Avionics test development practices are applied across all Honeywell Aerospace sites. Provide technical expertise on Factory related issues. Lead root cause investigation and corrective action for product test process related escapes. Drive the various stage gate reviews, coding standards through Technology Specialist Group (TFLC) Technical spokesperson for the Radios & Platforms team, within Honeywell and with customers Approve technical risk assessments & mitigations associated with product for new & legacy products Technical Liaison between Product development team and the Radios Testing team to ensure seamless execution Review proposal input/quotations for key projects. Coordinate with the engineering community to ensure verification tools and infrastructure is identified and/or developed to support technology insertions Mentor End state team members on new Technology and test methodology to help address the technical gaps. Effectively apply lessons learned and good testing practices across all test activities with multiple sitesHTSIND2025Skill Requirement:
The candidate should have
• Should hold a Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering or an appropriate
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in Test & measurement industry
• Good hands-on working experience on various Test & measurement instruments.
• Strong working knowledge on ATE and Test stations & Software Architecture
• Experience in ATEs (Automated Test Equipment) and Interface Test Adapter/Cable harness design; includes mechanical and electrical.
• Procurement, build and integration experience.
• Hands-on experience in test hardware design, minimum 3-4 Projects.
• Good knowledge of Instruments and their usage (Measuring & Sourcing instruments)
• Proficient & Architecture Design in C, C++, Python LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI programming.
• Strong in circuit analysis and hands on experience in simulation tools like SABER or Circuit Maker or PSPICE.
• Excellent communication skills
