As\na Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell Smart\nEnergy, you will play a critical role in the\ndesign, development and implementation of advanced hardware systems for cutting-edge smart energy solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative hardware solutions for Smart Metering Technology and Smart Grid applications for gas, electric and water grids.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign\n and develop advanced hardware solutions for Smart Metering products\n and associated systemsYour\n ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and define project\n requirements will enable seamless integration with other components and\n systems, enhancing the overall performance and functionality of our Smart\n Metering products.Perform hardware\n testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability.Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies for hardware developmentIdentify\n opportunities for process and product improvements and contribute to the\n optimization of operationsProvide\n technical guidance and support to team membersYour technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable hardware systems YOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematicsProven experience\n in hardware design and developmentWE VALUEBachelor’s degree in\n Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience in the process automation industry is of value. Knowledge of analog and/or digital circuit designExperience\n with schematic capture and PCB layout toolsProficient\n in using simulation and modeling tools for hardware designExperience\n with FPGA and DSP designKnowledge\n of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus) is of value.Strong communication\n and collaboration skills
