**Sr. Advanced Project Engineer**
We have an opportunity at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Bangalore, India for a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer within the Aerospace – Engineering Strategy and Integration (ES&I) business unit. The Sr. Advanced Project Engineer job responsibilities will include
+ Responsible for planning, forecasting, and working with cross functional teams to execute strategy, licensing and supply chain transitions projects.
+ Execute confidential site restructuring projects - driving productivity and synergistic benefits for the company
+ Support in engineering aspects of due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
+ Engage with key stakeholders in engineering (product owners, COE focal, product chiefs, Transition chiefs) to ensure that the transitions meet the substantiation requirements from engineering and customer approvals.
+ Drive projects according to Honeywell standards AP-1120, STP 2.0 and AG-5932 with focus on acceleration.
+ Provide project metrics, and communications
+ Manage cost and schedule variances and be accountable to meet baselines.
+ Be a team player, share experiences, learn from teammates.
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering in any discipline with a minimum of 15 years of total experience in design/ development/ manufacturing in aerospace or similar industrial company.
+ Project Management Professional or equivalent certificate desired.
Skills and Preferred experience:
+ Minimum 12 years of experience in either design, development, qualification and/or manufacturing of complex systems in aerospace or defense or equivalent industry verticals
+ Project/ program leadership for 3+ years
+ Work in fast paced and dynamic environment with a strong bias for action.
+ Ability to manage several concurrent projects
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Familiarity with Transitions/ strategy projects preferred
+ Strong project management and interpersonal skills including the ability to integrate diverse opinions, manage priorities, and drive initiatives
+ Willingness to travel (domestic/ international) up to 10% of the time.
+ Knowledge and experience in using PLM Teamcenter, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, MS Projects, Advanced Excel, & SAP.
+ Experience with supplier technical management is a plus
